... It all began while showing  houses to customers that were relocating to Connecticut.

    Our customer was in town for just a day and determined to find a house. But, there was a horrible snow storm and Mother Nature was not letting up.  Determined, we ventured out on roads that were practically invisible.  We searched for each snow covered address on our tour of homes for sale.  Sellers thought we were nuts, but they were accommodating, (which we sincerely appreciated).  We all focused on finding a house and getting back to the office in one piece! 

    The deciding moment was when we stopped and helped a woman stranded on a snow covered back road.  The most beautiful woman was standing there, just staring in disbelief at her disabled car.   Chris stopped the car, and we got out of our warm vehicle to help  her.  He pushed, I steered.  Even our customer got into the act and pushed!  We dug with our hands and kicked snow with our boots to free the tires.  Eventually, all that team-work paid off and I drove the car out of the ditch and up  the hill!  We all managed to save the day!   ...And the customer found a house, too!   

   So, that was the beginning.  Chris and I  not only had a passion for real estate, but for helping people.  Getting married and going into business together was a way to re-live that moment for the rest of our lives.
